Twenty years inside admissions offices, financial aid departments, and community organizations. Built for the families and students who need it most.
Empowered Admissions started because too many students were falling through the cracks. Not for lack of ability. Not for lack of ambition. But because no one sat down with their families and helped them make a real plan, in the language they think in, tied to options that actually existed for them.
Most of our team were the first in their family to go to college. We didn't just study these pathways. We walked them. That changes how we work.
Our team has spent more than twenty years inside the systems that shape student outcomes: admissions offices, financial aid departments, community organizations, continuation schools, and community colleges. We know what the data says, and we know what the data misses. That combination is the foundation of everything we build.
We don't replace your counseling team. We give them a structure that makes their work visible, measurable, and connected to district goals. We work in English and Spanish, from the first conversation.
01
CCR-specific focus
Not general student services. Every program is built around college and career readiness outcomes, tied to the metrics your district is already accountable for.
02
Bilingual delivery, built in from the start
Not translated after the fact. Every program, resource, and conversation is designed in English and Spanish simultaneously.
03
Data integration with your existing systems
We work with what you already have: Aeries, CCGI, FAFSA trackers. No new software. No replacing what works. A shared roadmap and someone to help you run it.
04
A team that has been through this personally
Most of our team were the first in their family to go to college. We didn't just study these pathways. We walked them.
Partnership, Not Consulting
Our goal is to leave every district, school, and college stronger than we found it. We work alongside counselors and staff, not above them. Every engagement is designed to transfer knowledge and build internal ownership, not create a dependency on outside support.
Bilingual by Design
Every program, resource, and conversation is built in both English and Spanish simultaneously. Translation creates a two-tiered experience. Design that starts bilingual creates equity. This is one of the most important distinctions between our approach and what most programs offer.
California-Specific
We work exclusively in California, and our programs are built around California's specific systems and accountability structures. That means the College and Career Indicator, A-G requirements, the California Dream Act, CCGI, dual enrollment under AB 288, and the local metrics your district is already required to report.
Alternative Education Expertise
Most CCR programs are designed for comprehensive high schools and adapted, poorly, for alternative education. We have deep expertise in continuation schools, community day schools, and independent study programs, where the students who need CCR support the most are most likely to be underserved by off-the-shelf approaches.
We have served students and families across California, from the Bay Area to the Central Valley, working with school districts, community colleges, and families navigating every postsecondary pathway. Our approach ties every activity to a measurable student action. We believe CCR work should be traceable from program to outcome, and we build that accountability into everything we design.
